Recreational fishing on the Côte d’Opale: best practices for coastal management (2016–2020)
PEROPALE was a citizen science project bringing together scientific laboratories, associations and local stakeholders. The research focused on different forms of recreational fishing on the coast and within 2 nautical miles over a section of the Côte d’Opale from Cap Gris-Nez in the north to Equihen in the south.
The ultimate objective was to contribute to better management of practices that could find a balance between preservation of resources and maintenance of traditional activities.
